Meteor showers

See when the next shower peaks and in which years the Moon stays out of the way. Every shower comes with observing conditions computed six years ahead.

Conditions are computed with the same astronomy engine that powers the Lunar Frame planner.

Why not every shower?

This list covers showers with practical observing conditions from Poland. At the nominal peak we require both astronomical night and a radiant at least 20° above the horizon.

The Eta Aquariids and Delta Aquariids do not meet that criterion at the measured peak, and the Alpha Capricornids have a short usable window from Poland and low activity. That is why they are not part of the first version of this catalogue.
